Gandolf Finke and Jan Raue founded Berlin, Germany-based Mika. Mika is a digital platform empowering people affected by cancer. According to the German Medical Devices Act, Mika is a medical device. Mika’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of cancer patients. Mika, a digital assistant, accompanies the patient through the therapy and supports him with practical tips, expert knowledge on tumor diseases, and personal recommendations to promote the patient’s health and quality of life. Mika supports connecting other devices (smartwatch, fitness tracker, and health apps) and services to merge all the health data and provide content that oncologists and psychotherapists check. Avi Medical

Munich, Bayern, Germany-based Avi Medical, founded by Christoph Baumeister, Julian Kley, and Vlad Lata, is among the 6 Germany-based Health Tech startups. A digital healthcare company providing telemedicine services, Avi Medical, enables patients to book appointments, manage their health data, and chat with the practitioner. Avi Medical uses data-driven medicine to provide patients and healthcare workers with a streamlined, more modern experience. Avi Medical’s mission is to bring outpatient, general medical patient care into the 21st century. Of the 6 Germany-based Health Tech Startups, Ali El-Ali and Manuel Aberle founded Berlin, Germany-based Get Cure. Get Cure is a consumer health platform. Get CURE connects local pharmacies with customers through its platform and delivers healthcare-related goods directly to the consumer. Get Cure empowers people to order their medications easily and securely online. The Get Cure app allows people to access and order over 3.000 products from their local pharmacies. Get Cure helps pharmacies scale their core business, optimize their digital customer journey and attract new customers. Get Cure’s team consists of serial entrepreneurs, experienced leaders, and investors from the delivery and pharmaceutical industry. Get Cure’s mission is to enable pharmacists and consumers to connect digitally and act on its growing platform.
