Portrait of Ethereum Founder Vitalik Buterin as “CryptoMother”

NFT STARS is a cross-chain NFT marketplace that makes it easy for users to switch between blockchains. The NFT STARS marketplace has a vibrant collection of artworks for art lovers, collectors, investors, and NFT gamers. The marketplace is selective about artists to ensure each one enjoys Gas-free NFT minting. On this platform, artists can host virtual exhibitions in an Augmented Reality (AR) environment and have the privilege of collective NFT ownership.

Based in Australia, NFT STARS has announced the auction of “CryptoMother” by Ethereum Founder Vitalik Buterin. As per NFT STARS, “CryptoMother” is the only artwork signed by the Ethereum Founder Vitalik Buterin available at the marketplace. The auction is scheduled for July 30, 2021, ahead of Ethereum’s London hard fork launch on August 4, 2021. It is a hard choice already for Ethereum fans to divide themselves between the auction of the “CryptoMother” and the London hard fork.

“CryptoMother” is the face of the Mona Lisa, also known as the Crypto Mona Lisa. To anyone, it may appear as a zombie Mona Lisa lost in the crypto World. Although NFT STARS has branded this artwork legendary for embodying the values of the Defi sector, protecting and guiding the crypto network like a mother, to us, it seems like the alter ego of Vitalik Buterin. Or, “CryptoMother” can also be the imaginary child of Mona Lisa, the actual legendary artwork, and Vitalik Buterin.

An NFT and an oil-on-canvas painting (100 × 100 cm), the artwork is much sought after by global art collectors. The original “CryptoMother” artwork first appeared in a blockchain conference in 2017, followed by numerous crypto-themed events. It was at a blockchain even in 2018 when Vitalik Buterin saw the painting and signed it. The current owner of “CryptoMother” has been offered as high as $6 million, but since rejection, NFT STARS has decided to go slow at starting price of 400 ETH. The auction of “CryptoMother” is a toast to the Ethereum network that the London hard fork will bring, wherein part proceedings of the auction also go to a charity.
